Think “reverse career fair.” This is a session where students can explore different AEC career disciplines and ask you questions about what you do and how you got there. The focus for this event is to showcase a cross-section of our industry, not primarily trying to hire candidates to your specific company. We are looking for poster-presenters from every AEC discipline to share what it’s like to work in that particular field. 

• H&A will provide a template for the poster, which will include suggested key sections to exhibit. The posters will focus on your personal journey, what someone in your discipline does on a day-to-day, and potential career paths for students at your firm. We are looking for lots of graphics and photos to spark conversations. 
• There will be two virtual prep meetings to provide more guidance and details about the poster creation and final logistics. 
• We also need volunteers to provide general support (registration table, help with setup/breakdown, food, networking, etc.)

This event is part of a series of volunteer opportunities hosted by Haley & Aldrich to expose students to the broad array of careers in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry, and convince them there’s something for nearly everyone.
