DESCRIPTION:Think "reverse career fair." This is a session where students can explore different AEC career disciplines and ask you questions about what you do and how you got there. The focus of this event is to showcase a cross-section of our industry\, hosting more than a dozen different professionals at one time not primarily trying to hire candidates for your specific company\, but exposing students to your discipline and exciting them about possibilities in our industry overall.We are looking for poster presenters from every AEC discipline to share what it's like to work in their field. We also need volunteers to provide general support\, including the registration table\, greeting and helping students navigate\, setup/breakdown\, food\, networking\, etc.H&A will provide a poster template with suggested key sections. Posters will focus on your personal journey\, what someone in your discipline does day-to-day\, and potential career paths for students at your firm. We are looking for lots of graphics and photos to spark conversations.There will be two virtual prep meetings to provide additional guidance on poster creation and final logistics.
